• We invented this tech, no-one understands it better

That’s why we’re trusted by everyone from major international municipalities to the US military and LAX

  • We think about rain management a lot

so you can forget about it

Critical Rainwater Management When Failure Isn’t An Option

Reliable, proven and robust water management and storm crates

Some highlights from our portfolio

When LAX International Airport needed effective storm water drainage they chose our system

Because failure wasn’t an option

There are imitations of the products we invented and hold the patents for, you can see them typically when you hear of crate systems failing. It isn’t just the tech that matters it’s the understanding of that tech and how it is implemented that matters.
A failure of storm drains at one of the busiest airports in the world would not only be financially catastrophic for the airport and the airlines, it would be potentially deadly.

When U.S. Navy WANTED to collect rain water for the helicopter washing bays they chose ERS

Because failure wasn’t an option

The U.S. Navy opted to collect rain water from the helicopter hangar to use in the helicopter washing bays. They designed the system with Era StormCrates Single Crates – 1.5’ tall. The photographs show how a plastic liner was first installed, then a layer of sand placed inside the liner to aid in water purification.

We have completed dozens of projects in Qatar

Because failure wasn’t an option

Water is a previous commodity anywhere but nowhere more so than in desert countries. One of the leading contractors in the country have used our products in over a dozen projects from municipal bus stations, international schools to the Doha Port and Infrastructure Building.
Reliable, predictable and robust solutions are critical when these sorts of budgets are involved. ERS SuDS were up to the job, again and again.

Why manage stormwater?

Stormwater needs to be managed as it can have an impact on our urban waterways. For new developments, it is essential that the right controls are put in place to manage stormwater, prevent flooding and improve water quality.

  • Managing stormwater

When new developments are planned, infrastructure and development controls are needed to manage stormwater and prevent flooding of properties.

  • Treating, using and retaining stormwater in the catchment can reduce the amount of stormwater reaching waterways and help reduce the frequency and severity of flooding. This is all part of a Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) approach to stormwater management.

What is rainwater recycling and why is it Important?

Water is our most precious natural resource and something that most of us take for granted. We are now increasingly becoming aware of the importance of water to our survival and its limited supply.

  • The harvesting of rainwater simply involves the collection of water from surfaces on which rain falls, and subsequently storing this water for later use.

Normally water is collected from the roofs of buildings and stored in rainwater tanks. This is very common. We can create underground reservoirs to store and recycle Stormwater, using our crate system.

Either of these methods make sure this precious resource is not squandered.

  • By capturing water directly, we can significantly reduce our reliance on water storage dams. This places less stress on these dams and can potentially reduce the need to expand these dams or build new ones.

Collecting and using your own water can also significantly reduce your water bills.

By capturing water, the flow of stormwater is also reduced and this minimises the likelihood of overloading the stormwater systems in our neighborhoods.

‘Recycling water isn’t just good for the environment, it’s a sound, practical financial strategy for any competently run business or municipality’
